James Grundy Update June 2014
A letter from James.

I thought that it was time I updated you all on my progress. Since acquiring the Dynavox over 2 years ago I must say what a difference it has made to my life.  Reports from my school also state the benefit of the unit. Details of my school report are on the mark web site.

Last February I had problems with the battery not holding its charge but through your kindness of having arranged and extended warranty I was supplied with a new battery within 24 hours at no charge. (This would have been in excess of £125).

I am currently off school as on the 22nd May I had to have a major operation to rebuild my hips at Alder Hey Hospital. The operation commenced at 9am and lasted for over 11 hours. I am now in Plaster from my chest to my feet as you can see from
the attached photograph. I return to the hospital on the 16th. June to have x rays to ensure all is correct and then 2 weeks later I shall have the plaster off and undergo 5 days of intensive physiotherapy staying in hospital during this time.
I am at present using my Dynavox at home as I am unable to go to school.

May I once again thank all the Mark masons for  the Dynavox and also the many 'Get Well' wishes from them.
